I got stung on the toe by a bark scorpion. It started off as a minor burn and escalated to a strong, uncomfortable tingling sensation over most of my pes and extended up to my mid shin. I was stung twice in a row past a bark scorpion on the side of my left thigh. This was my 4th time being stung and so I was prepared for the hurting. Last dark I walked barefoot into an unlit room and stepped on something - which turned out to be a bark scorpion (currently a resident in my freezer) - and I felt a stabbing pain on my little toe. Here in Phoenix, Arizona, I got stung past a scorpion over 30 times on my back while sleeping. Going on 6 days of burning hurting. I received a tetanus shot. Couple days ago I was stung by a scorpion in the center of nowhere. I was in a fishing trip with a friend. It was scary but luckily I found a guy there who had been stung near twenty times. Living in south central Texas near Goliad, I've encountered a countless number of scorpions over the years but had never been bitten. I just got stung a few hours ago. I live in Arizona, and my house is next to acres of desert. We alive in Central Texas in areas with lots of scorpions. My wife, daughter and I have all been stung multiple times. Though it is very painful, Benadryl Gel speedily diminishes the pain and slight swelling. None of us have allergic reactions, thankfully. My married woman was stung multiple times in the garden by baby scorpions and that was pretty painful, but had no long term adverse effects. I detest scorpions!

In Georgia, scorpion stings are no worse than a bee sting. (This is serious if you are allergic.) Being a Minnesota native I was not aware of this information until past chance I sat on 1 here in Georgia. The thing stung me multiple times on the back of the thigh and I thought I was a goner.
